Services
A service is something you do for a client: a set of accounts, a VAT return, a payroll run.
Task templates
Each service carries the tasks that deliver it. When a client's service is ticked, those templates are what the tasks come from.
Getting templates right is the highest-leverage setup in Orin. Every client who takes the service afterwards inherits them, so an hour here saves the same hour on every job.
Common questions
A service was ticked and no tasks appeared. The service has no task templates. The tick says you do the work; templates create it.
Changing a template: does it change services clients already take? No. Tasks already created keep the shape they were created with, so work in flight does not change under the person doing it.
